An international manufacturing company in the food industry has a newly created position as The Senior Financial Analyst for North America.  You will be the responsible for financial reporting of North America reporting to CFO.


  • Create month-end/year-end financial  reporting
  • Preparation of various analyses and reports on weekly/monthly/quarterly basis
  • Provide finance business support
  • On-site support of operations & engineering departments
  • Provide support Business unit
  • Close alignment with Finance North American organization
  • Review and support of project offer calculations
  • Implementation & monitoring of internal controls
  • Initiate improvement processes of internal organization
  • Coordination & preparation of planning (Budget, Forecasts etc.)
  • Creation of regular Management information package
  • Monitor data quality & accuracy in reporting and ERP system
  • Create, align & follow-up of department budgets
  • Provide leadership in monitoring, assessing, interpreting, highlighting and reporting on financial and project/operational area performance
  • Communicate with other subsidiaries & Corporate headquarter
  • Statutory director of legal entity
  • Compliance management responsibility for the legal entity
  • Coordinate legal activities with external and internal lawyers
  • Setup of new procedures (internal controls, guidelines, etc.)
  • Participate in strategic projects (company-wide or within BU/Finance organization)


  • Bachelor degree in finance, accounting and CPA
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience, partially in Senior Finance functions
  • Microsoft AX4/AX6 and/or SAP knowledge would be an asset
  • Proficient in MS Office and advance in Excel
  • Manufacturing experience
  • A large drive, hands-on mentality, self-starter, self sufficient, analytical
  • Experience with working for multinational companies
  • Preferably experience with production companies and/or Project business
  • Knowledge in Canadian tax legislation, and knowledge of the US tax legislation would be an asset
  • Experience with cross-border business transactions & personnel
  • Ability adjust in a quickly changing working environment
  • Some travelling
